Examples of Gods and Fiends
The gods and evil spirits I'm talking about now are all explained literally, without discussing good or bad luck, misfortune or blessing. Have you all ever thought that the Peach Blossom can bring both wealth and people, which also includes going to jail. It's not unheard of for those who have held official positions to have gone to jail. There are many who were elected as representatives of the people after serving time in prison! Any god or evil spirit can bring good or bad luck. For example, the Canopy. It seems that some people go to temples to do volunteer work. Well, the abbot of a large temple also has the Canopy. Take the late Dharma Masters Baisheng and Nanting who passed away about forty years ago. They could even meet the president. That's also related to the Canopy. The Canopy can bring either good or bad luck.
Therefore, when we analyze one's fortune, we don't care about the literal meanings of the so - called "auspicious or inauspicious signs" in fortune - telling. Whether it's the "Horse Star", the "Peach Blossom Star", the "Canopy Star", or anything else, including the "Noble Star", we don't focus on the situation at a certain moment but on the final outcome. This is the key point of our fortune - telling. Take the "Peach Blossom Star" as an example. It's easy for everyone to understand. I'll give an illustration and write it on this chart, then everyone will get it. So, when we analyze one's fortune, we're not afraid if you have the "Peach Blossom Star" or the "Doom and Robbery Star" in your birth chart. We should look at your final result.
The gods and evil spirits are most afraid of one thing. Everyone should remember clearly. They are afraid that the five - elements of the gods and evil spirits overcome your Day Master. Now, here is an example. For a person born at the Mao hour on a Xu day, there is the Peach Blossom in the horoscope. No matter what kind of pattern it is and no matter how the Ten Gods are positioned, it is true that there is the Peach Blossom in your horoscope. Then, does this Peach Blossom bring both people and wealth? Or does it lead to the loss of both people and wealth? It depends on what the Heavenly Stem of your Day Master is. There are clear examples written above. For instance, for a person born on an Jia - Xu day, seeing Mao is the Peach Blossom, and Mao represents Yi. You must be familiar with the five - elements of Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches.
Then I can say something in advance. When it comes to fortune - telling, when you get a person's eight - character horoscope (birth date and time in the Chinese lunar calendar), how much time do you have to understand the good and bad luck, misfortunes and blessings of this horoscope? At most two minutes. You may say two minutes is very short, but no. When two people face each other without saying a word for two minutes, the time seems very long! If you can't figure out the good and bad luck within two minutes, even if you keep looking at it for two hours, you still won't be able to figure it out. So you must understand the ten gods, six relatives, punishments, clashes, and auspicious and inauspicious signs within two minutes. This completely depends on your understanding of the rules of the four pillars, which is very important. Because many people who study the theory of fate for three to five years or even ten years can talk with me about all the theories, but when you give them an eight - character horoscope, they can't say a word, because their speed is not fast enough. If you sit in front of someone and can't say a single word in two minutes, you don't look like an expert.
Then let's get back to the topic of the Peach Blossom. In the context of the Bazi (Chinese astrological system), when the earthly branches Yin, Wu, and Xu are present, and Mao appears, it is regarded as the Peach Blossom. The first thing to determine is: what is the Five - Element of the Peach Blossom? It is Wood.
Second, look at the Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch of the day pillar, which is Jiaxu. Jia represents wood too, indicating equality! Well, for this person in a romantic relationship, whether it's a husband - wife or a boyfriend - girlfriend relationship, they treat you equally. If you show kindness to them, they won't play dumb. They won't give you special favors either, nor will they mistreat you. It's just an ordinary relationship. This is what's called the "same - self peach blossom", which means getting along equally and very fairly. If you're not nice to me, I won't be nice to you. If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you too, but I won't go overboard. It's completely normal. This is the first point.
Second, if it's not the year of Jiaxu but Bingxu, it's still the case that when Xu meets Mao, it represents the Peach Blossom. However, the Day Master has changed to Bing, which belongs to fire. The Peach Blossom is wood, and wood can generate fire. You said it's not easy to push her away! So, regarding this person's Peach Blossom luck! He's not a lecher, but there are so many opportunities. It's just like the directors of the Shaw Brothers Studio two or three decades ago. Many people who wanted to become movie stars would like to make friends with them. That is, when the Peach Blossom generates you, it means people come to you! So, I won't blame this person. I just hope he can have a sense of propriety.
If the day master is changed to Wuxu day, it's still a peach blossom, but the five - elements are different. If the peach blossom restrains the day master, it'll be terrible. Throughout your life, you'll be unlucky as long as you meet any woman. Why is it unlucky? There's no reason. It's just that you have a natural look that makes people think they can bully you at first sight. So you should be most afraid of the evil star restraining you. Once it restrains you, nothing will go well. This kind of peach blossom is extremely bad. You'll lose money and still be scolded by others.
If we change the character again, in the Gengxu year, seeing Mao is also considered a "Peach Blossom" (a symbol related to romantic relationships in Chinese fortune - telling), but it's different. It's the metal element overcoming the wood element. The "Peach Blossom" is overcome by oneself. It sounds a bit strange. It's said that one can take it or leave it at will. Can it really be that simple? If you say you don't want it, will the other person agree? The other person will actually agree because you have such a destiny. Sounds quite heart - less, doesn't it? Just say you don't want it and that's it! But from the perspective of the person involved, the "Peach Blossom" doesn't really cause any trouble at all. I think you all have also seen people who can give it up at any time.
What about when a "Noble Person" overcomes oneself? This person has helped you. Today he asks you to do this, and tomorrow he asks you to do that. He tells everyone that if it weren't for him, you wouldn't be where you are today. He suppresses you tightly. You are overcome by the "Noble Person".
And there is also the situation where a "Noble Person" generates oneself. This is quite rare. For example, he calls you and asks, "Do you need money? Do you need some working capital?" Or he asks you, "Is your current job okay? If you don't like it, I'll find you another one." It's rare, but it's not non - existent.
So, regarding the auspiciousness and inauspiciousness of the divine spirits and evil stars, what I just explained is a kind of phenomenon. Good and bad fortune lies here. For example, some clients ask me. They don't ask about getting promoted and making a fortune. They already have big businesses. But for the most important people around them, they dare not use them until they've asked me. If I entrust great power to this person, will he be loyal to me? Will he be grateful to me? If this person is someone whom I overcome but who is a noble person, he won't thank you. If the eight characters in the other person's birth chart indicate that the noble person helps him, then only you will help him. As for such things, when doing fortune - telling, I tell those successful people to have their fortune told about the people around them, the first - hand supervisors, that is, their secretaries. It's not about asking for their help, nor is it about calculating whether their luck is good or bad. It's just about whether they can get loyal people. Well, this has nothing to do with glory, wealth and honor, and has nothing to do with wife, wealth, children, emolument and longevity. This is about noble people.
Let me give another example. I think after three examples, you all will understand. The worst are the "Death God" and the "Robbery Omen", which bring about disputes!
In the first case, when the "Death God" and the "Robbery Omen" are the same as the Day Master in terms of the Five Elements, what will happen? Some young friends said in a chat that they won't cause trouble when there's no problem, but they're not afraid when trouble comes. They'll never go out of their way to cause trouble, but if trouble really comes, they're not scared and will handle it equally.
In the second case, when the "Death God" and the "Robbery Omen" generate you, then there are always people around you who cause disputes! You'll even get involved in trivial matters when just sitting at home.
In the third case, when you generate the "Death God" and the "Robbery Omen", you yourself are the source of disputes. You'll go around meddling in other people's business.
In the fourth case, when the "Death God" and the "Robbery Omen" overcome you, it's bad. You'll be the loser, and the disputes will overwhelm you with no way out.
In the fifth case, it's good. When you overcome the "Death God" and the "Robbery Omen", even if you go to jail, it'll bring you great benefits because you're the one overcoming them.
When it comes to all the divine omens and their pros and cons, it's best if they are subdued by me. But it's impossible for you to subdue all of them! If we pick one or two to talk about, the peach blossom omen that is subdued by me has no pros or cons for you. If you are subdued by a divine omen, even if it's a noble omen, there will be troubles. So, which one is better then? This is no longer within the scope of my talk. It should be discussed from your perspective as the person involved. Just like in the stories we tell, Zhu Hongwu killed so many people and had too many benefactors to repay. Well, the good and bad of these divine omens are about whether they subdue me or not. Similarly, for these divine omens, besides considering whether they subdue me or not, we also need to consider which pillar in the Four Pillars of Destiny they are associated with. If it's in the year pillar, it represents childhood. Usually, we don't talk about good and bad fortune based on the year pillar. At most, we'll just say some polite words, like "Oh! You come from a scholarly family. Your family is very capable."
The first one talks about the years, and the second one talks about the Ten Gods. For example, we say that the Direct Wealth represents the wife. This is the positioning of the Ten Gods. If we bring in the Divine Killings, it will be different. If the Direct Wealth sits on the Seven Killings, then your troubles come from women. If the Officer and Slayer sit on the Seven Killings, for women, it means it's brought to you by your husband. If the Peer and Robber sit on the Seven Killings, it means you spend money to get yourself into trouble. These are the bad situations. As for the good ones, they are all the same!
For example, when the "rival in wealth and resources" sits with the "noble person", this noble person will invite others to dinner and give gifts! If you don't bring a gift, that noble person won't come. If the "wealth" sits with the "noble person", it's a good thing for men. That noble person comes from women. It's not nice to say that a man relies on women. However, to put it more politely, you'd better do business targeting women, such as women's clothing. This means pointing in that direction.
Well, all the celestial and earthly omens are included here. Now, let me give an example. On page 50 of A General Introduction to Zi Ping's Basics (13th edition), this Bazi was originally used in the book to teach how to determine the pattern. Now, I'll write down all the celestial and earthly omens, clashes, and punishments related to it.
Direct Officer: Yihai Hurting Officer: Jiayu Partial Seal: Renchen First, the earthly branch of the day is Chen. For the combination of Shen, Zi, and Chen, the "Lost God" is at Hai, and the earthly branch of the year is Hai, which is the "Lost God". The "Lost God" represents a state of being muddled. The year pillar represents childhood! At most, he says he wants something to eat, but then doesn't eat it after you buy it.
Second, the yen is Ren Water, and its Heavenly Stem's Lu is in the annual branch. Having a Jian Lu indicates self - confidence, but it's actually useless and a bit stubborn.
Third, if there is a Direct Official in the Year Pillar, it can be said that this person was born into a family that owns at least one house.
Fourth, the earthly branch of the year is Hai. For Hai, Zi, and Chou, the Lonely Star is Yin and the Widowed Star is Xu. In the month and hour columns, there are Widowed Stars, two of them. This is his private matter regarding male-female relationships. The Widowed Star can be interpreted as meaning that whether it's a man or a woman, they will experience loneliness. Even if I say that men fear the Lonely Star and women fear the Widowed Star, it still means being lonely! No matter how you explain it, it always means being alone! But here, you need to pay attention. There is a clash between Chen and Xu. Did you see that? Later, there is a clash between Chen and Xu. When the Widowed Star is involved in a clash, one wife may die, or he may get divorced from one wife. This kind of phenomenon has its reasons. Before the divorce, there are constant quarrels and they are very unhappy. Then, after the wife dies, what does he say? He says selfish things like, "It's good that she's dead. It saves me the trouble!"
If you experience this kind of clash, it's indeed a clash between the year and the month. From the age of 16 to 30, with the "Lonely Star" in clash, if you break up, you'll be very unhappy. Then you ask how many times exactly? There's no fixed number. Each time counts as one, because this situation spans within 15 years! So, in which year will you get married? When it comes to the annual fortunes, that's another thing to tell you. This is Kinlan soy sauce, and this is Wei Chuan MSG. That's how fortune - telling works, step by step.
Fifth, there is the combination of Jia and Ji on it. I don't know if you can recite it. Just reciting the formula of the combination of Jia and Ji doesn't tell you anything about good or bad luck. The explanation here is different. When the Eating God combines with the Direct Official, first of all, there is a Direct Official in the Year Pillar. When the Direct Official is combined, this benefit can extend to the Month Pillar. This Heavenly Stem combination lasts for seven and a half years. In terms of the Month Pillar, it can have an effect until the age of 22. Once you pass the age of 22, there will be a clash between Chen and Xu below, and the effect of the combination will disappear.
If she is a woman, in terms of the time limit, it's the same for both men and women. However, it's different when it comes to the Ten Gods. This is because in a male's Bazi, the Gourmet God has no kinship relationship, while in a female's Bazi, it does.
What does the "Gourmet God" mean in a woman's Bazi? The Gourmet God and Hurting Officer represent children. The Proper Officer represents the husband. If the children are in harmony with the husband, with the husband coming first and the children following, how should this be interpreted? Ordinary people can't explain it, but experienced fortune - tellers have a way to interpret it. So, how to interpret it? Have you ever noticed that a couple is very affectionate before marriage, but once they get married, the wife only cares about the children and ignores the husband! I'm just joking. For example, she might wake her husband up in the middle of the night to make milk for the baby. If they get divorced, she definitely wants to keep the children and can do without the husband.
Well, let me give this example. If we use this standard for fortune - telling, it can get really in - depth. Even family affairs can be included! It even covers how a divorce should be carried out. So, it goes deeper and deeper layer by layer. There is a clash between the sun, the moon, Chen and Xu. And then there is another mention of Chen and Xu later. Isn't that just the end of it!
There are clashes at the front and also at the back. If you look at it from the perspective of a fulfilling life, it's extremely bad. If you talk about it in terms of the minimum requirements, if you don't have them, how can you even count it? You have to be together first before there can be death or a breakup! There are people even worse off than you. They can't even get married, so what's the point of talking about a breakup? Therefore, whether a person's fortune is good or bad, for the same birth chart and the same situation, it has to be discussed according to different conditions. So, regarding this degree, when the Chen and Xu branches clash, if it's about himself, there have been clashes all the time after he turned thirty. As for whether his fortune is good or bad, his Shi Shen can generate wealth. You can say there will always be gossips and disputes in his life.
Sixth, everyone, look at this Bazi (Eight Characters). There is a partial seal at the hour pillar. A partial seal represents art. If we simply define it based on the Ten Gods, this person has an artistic personality and is a bit eccentric. However, looking at the entire Bazi, it's different. After so many clashes and punishments, his outlook on life has become a bit negative. It's no longer about being individualistic, but rather has a touch of the nature of enlightenment. When talking, he'll say that everything doesn't matter and that one should just let it go. What I'm talking about regarding Bazi is not to teach you fortune - telling. Instead, I'm bringing together what I've mentioned before and giving a dynamic explanation. This is also a kind of preliminary practice in reading Bazi.
Seventh, if the earthly branch of the year is Hai, then the Grand Consumption stars are Chen and Wu. So, to be serious about this Bazi, apart from a relatively good family background, it is not a smooth one. Well, this is just an example. So, having said this much, has it been fully explained? What does "fully explained" mean? For example, if the heavenly stem is the Proper Wealth. Let's first assume that wealth is a good thing. There's no way wealth can be a bad thing. But then, how much wealth is it? Is it a lot or a little? This point hasn't been covered. If we want to cover this point, we need to talk about strength and weakness. We must memorize these four sets of rules. The first set that I asked you to memorize is about punishment, conflict, combination, and conjunction. The second set is about the representatives of the Six Relatives. The Proper Officer represents the husband, and the Proper Wealth represents the wife. When there is a combination, it's not the combination of Jia and Ji anymore. Instead, it becomes the combination of the Hurting Officer and the Proper Officer, which is a combination of the Six Relatives. As for the third set, it hasn't been covered up to now. It's the Twelve Stages of Life, Prosperity, and Storage, as well as the concepts of Lu and Jue, which you need to memorize earlier.
For example, if you have twelve subordinates, you should be able to tell who is the most capable and who is the least competent. You need to know who ranks first and who ranks second. When it comes to "Lu Jue", it divides the ten Heavenly Stems into twelve equal parts. For example, there are only five types of banknotes, namely the 100 - yuan note, the 50 - yuan note, the 20 - yuan note, the 10 - yuan note, and the 5 - yuan note. However, the ten Heavenly Stems are divided into twelve types. I'll combine the discussion of the strongest and the weakest. This part will be grouped into another part, which is about strength and weakness. For example, if I give you some money and write you a check, a 500 - yuan check is also one check, and a 500 - million - yuan check is also one check. Then the issue of strength and weakness will be discussed in the next paragraph.
This paragraph involves the associations among the following five groups: gods and evil spirits, six relatives, years, clashes and punishments, and the relationships of generation and restraint between the gods and evil spirits and the day master alone. In fortune - telling, clashes, punishments, and gods and evil spirits can be used for independent fortune - telling! For ordinary people, fortune - telling can be done just based on these elements. Especially when it comes to describing one's character, if you have the "Huagai" star. For example, some people specifically go to a temple to stay for a few days. If the "Huagai" star generates you or you generate the "Huagai" star, you can seek it. When someone comes to you asking for donations and you receive them politely, it means the "Huagai" star is generating you. If I am affected by the "Huagai" star, I don't believe in such superstition! If the "Huagai" star restrains you, you may not even have enough to eat, but still donate money to the temple.
Let me give another example to explain it to you. It's about another Bazi on page 52 of General Introduction to Ziping's Basic Theories (13th edition).
Partial Wealth: Yiyou Direct Officer: Bingxu (Heavenly and Monthly Virtues) Direct Officer: Xinyou Has everyone noticed that every Bazi (Eight Characters) chart looks quite similar? Take this Bazi for example! There are Peer Competitors, Gourmet Gods, and Hurting Officers, going around in circles, and you can't tell anything about good or bad fortune. As long as you apply the four sets of formulas and include the auspicious and inauspicious stars, you can see the good and bad fortune. In this Bazi, it's very obvious. Look at the partial wealth and direct officer in the Heavenly Stems, it looks very impressive on the surface. With partial wealth in the year column, the family is wealthy. Wealth, Officer, and Seal are never bad. No matter how bad it can be, you can't say it's bad. At most, it's just a showy appearance. But a showy appearance is also good. Well, what we're going to talk about doesn't start with the Ten Gods. We'll start with the auspicious and inauspicious stars. This Bazi has the Flirtatious Star in the year column. Before the age of fifteen, it doesn't count as having the Flirtatious Star, so we won't talk about it. If it really has the Flirtatious Star, it's not considered a major topic in fortune - telling. There's still something to talk about regarding the Peach Blossom Star! The Flirtatious Star represents self - infatuation in the heart. What's there to talk about with it?
Seeking an official career means having ambition. Well, if it's shown in the year pillar, all these are nonsense. At most, a child will just be very stubborn. The proper official in the month and hour pillars is real. Although it's not an auspicious or inauspicious star, you can also take a look at it by the way. If one is born into a scholarly family, then the character "Bing" representing the proper official is quite ordinary! Anyone can have it. However, the "Bing" in this Bazi (Eight Characters) is the Heavenly and Monthly Virtuous Nobleman. There are Heavenly and Monthly Virtuous Noblemen in both the month and hour pillars. There's an advantage to having the Heavenly and Monthly Virtuous Nobleman in the Heavenly Stem; everyone can see it.
For example, let me tell a joke! It's not real! Suppose someone is a classmate of Wang Yung-ching. Do you think he'll be poor? Maybe he is really poor, but no one will believe it. Everyone knows that having a classmate like that is having a noble person in one's life. Sometimes when we chat, we might say, "Isn't the general manager of such-and-such bank your classmate?" And the answer is yes! People would think there must be a way (to get help). But that's not necessarily the case. It's obvious to everyone. Everyone can guess who will help you. It must be someone! It's a good thing! If we talk about it separately, having it in the hour column and the month column. Of course, having it in the hour column is more effective than having it in the month column. For the later years, after the age of forty-six, there happens to be one. And this Tian De noble person, will you help me or will I help you? There are new rules emerging here. Have you noticed the combination of Bing and Xin? So when you start learning fortune-telling, you have to be able to recite the punishments, clashes, combinations and conjunctions. Even if you can recite them, you may still not be able to do fortune-telling. But if you can't recite them, there's no way you can claim to know how to do fortune-telling.
When Bing and Xin combine, in terms of the Five Elements, Bing and Xin combine to form Water. Well, you are memorizing the combinations of the Five Elements. The explanations here are different. When Bing and Xin combine, it means the Direct Official combines. It also means the Noble combines. When there is a combination, it can be extended in terms of the years. When two Nobles combine together, in terms of the years, it means this person has the Tianyue De Noble from the age of sixteen to sixty. Well, everyone should always remember the three "arrivals" I mentioned. The first arrival is the arrival of time, and the second arrival is the arrival of relatives.
If this is a female's horoscope, and the proper official represents her husband, then her husband is very considerate and capable. This is about the six relatives. Well, when it comes to the process, it's different. For example, I often ask girls, do you want to marry a husband who earns 30,000 yuan a month and is very loyal to you, or a husband who earns one million yuan a month but may not come home every day? Which one would you choose? It's not certain! Poor people want a rich husband, while rich people want a loyal one! So when the husband star combines with others, it means your husband is shared with someone else. When the proper official combines with others, he can combine with you as well as with someone else. Well, this is the discussion about the husband star. Now, we don't know whether this horoscope belongs to a male or a female. This is just an example. Well, from the perspective of noble people, the combination of Bing and Xin means that you'll have noble people helping you throughout your life.
At that time, it was the Shen branch. Shen is the "God of Doom". The "God of Doom" means being muddled in doing things. However, we can't put it this way. If we explain it back and forth like this, as long as a Bazi has its own characteristics and one advantage, that's okay! One's later years are not as good as before. As for this "God of Doom", there is also the sequence of Shen, You, and Xu below. In the theory of punishment, conflict, combination, and gathering, Shen, You, and Xu form a triple gathering of the Western Metal. Just talking about this Metal alone is useless. The Metal needs to be compared with the Day Master. The Day Master is Xin Metal. So, what does this triple gathering of Metal turn into? It's the Peer and Rob Wealth! They belong to the same Five - Elements.
So in this Bazi (Four Pillars of Destiny), the earthly branches under the day stem are peer stars, which always indicate financial losses. Now, let me temporarily compare it to a woman. It's relatively good but also has the "God of Doom". The "Red Luan" here represents unrequited love. I often see on TV that when a foreign celebrity comes, many fans go to the airport to pick them up. There's actually no special meaning; it's just for the excitement. This is what the "Red Luan" is like. Well, in this Bazi, there are no clashes, only combinations.
Well, by presenting these two examples, it's impossible for everyone to become fortune - tellers right away. However, it can remind everyone of one thing, and that is to understand the importance of punishment, clash, combination, and the relationship of overcoming (either overcoming others or being overcome). When the Tianyue De Noble is combined, and the Mourning God is associated with metal. Shen represents metal, which is the same as the Day Master. Although this person may be a bit muddled, they won't go too far off - track. When the earthly branches Shen, You, and Xu form a metal combination, this person will lose money secretly throughout their life. Where does this money come from? It comes from the noble people. There seems to be money coming on the surface, but once they get it, it's gone as if it has leaked out.
If it's a male's horoscope, apart from having the influence of "losing wealth", there is also the factor of "overcoming the wife". After all, "rivalry among peers" can overcome the wife! Even if he has noble helpers, he still has the tendency to "overcome the wife". When we say "overcome the wife", it doesn't necessarily mean the wife will die; it just means they'll part ways! From youth to old age, whether it's the "You" and "Xu" or "You" and "Shen" combinations, it's all the same. He can break up at any time. At the very least, they just can't get along, and it'll be like this for a lifetime. So for a male, his marriage is extremely unsatisfactory, and he also loses money severely. For a female, her marriage is also a mess, even worse than that of a male. A male can just part ways, but for a female, it's more complicated. Now, suppose a woman asks me when her husband's affair will end. It's useless to ask. Even if it ends, there will be another one because it's in her fate to have such disputes! If she's the other woman and she asks if she'll find someone better after breaking up. No, it'll be the same. She'll just change a person. Can we tell her the truth like this? No! Because she comes here for comfort! So, everyone who has studied fortune - telling until now should realize one thing. I've told those amateur fortune - tellers who have studied for a long time that, to be honest, unless you can do fortune - telling yourself, it's very difficult to understand your own true fate!
So, when I present these two birth - charts, it's not because I expect you to be able to do fortune - telling right away. Instead, you'll deeply understand the importance of punishments, clashes, combinations, meetings, the representatives of relatives, the generation and restraint of the ten gods, and the four pillars of the years. Therefore, fortune - telling emphasizes the "three arrivals": the arrival of time, the arrival of relatives, and the arrival of character. I used to know a boxer who was very good at kung fu. I asked him how to practice kung fu well, and he said: "Three arrivals: the arrival of the eyes, the arrival of the mind, and the arrival of the hands." Once you glance at the birth - chart, the time, relatives, and character should all come to mind simultaneously. When you reach this state, you can start to read birth - charts. However, before meeting this requirement, I still advise you all to memorize well. You can either explain the theories when you recite or not. It doesn't matter if you don't understand the theories, but it won't work if you can't memorize. It's like turning on a light. You just need to press the right switch, and you don't have to study the circuit.
Well, I've given these two examples. Everyone should pay attention to the punishments, clashes, combinations, and congregations in the Bazi. So, let's end this section here. Next, we'll talk about strength and weakness. Strength and weakness refer to good and bad. What does "good" mean? Is it good if the boss pays me 100,000 yuan a month? Or is it even better if I'm paid 10 million yuan a month? These all fall into the category of strength and weakness and different patterns. When people say a man has good fortune, first of all, they just say he has good fortune. Secondly, they'll ask which of the four occupations - scholars, farmers, artisans, and merchants - he belongs to. Every profession produces its own outstanding figures. This is getting more and more detailed. Next time, we'll talk about patterns, strength and weakness, and also bring up the characteristics of the Five Elements. The Five Elements themselves have their own inherent properties. That's all for today.
