The Eight Types of Favorable and Unfavorable Conditions (3): The Pattern of the Direct Seal

So, after the Wealth Pattern, it's the Direct Seal Pattern. The Direct Seal Pattern is the one that nurtures the Day Master. For any pattern, the Day Master needs to be strong, except for the Direct Seal Pattern, which doesn't require the Day Master to be strong. The Seal nurtures you. So, what is the Seal Pattern afraid of? As mentioned earlier in the interactions among the Ten Gods, Wealth restrains the Seal. For men, Wealth represents both money and women. How can one do without Wealth? It's the same for women. After all, money is real! Once the Seal Pattern is associated with Wealth, it restrains the pattern. In order to have Wealth without restraining the pattern, we still use the Mediating Useful God. Wealth generates Officer and Slayer, and Officer and Slayer generate the Seal. Therefore, a Bazi chart with the Seal Pattern must have Officer and Slayer. This is how we customarily analyze Bazi charts.

First, check if there are official killing elements. If there are no official killing elements, one is just an ordinary scholar. Once there are official killing elements, one will hold power. As for money, since it is legally obtained due to your status, the seal must be related to official killing elements. The seal is afraid of combination and conflict. This applies to all configurations in the same way, and conflict is much more serious than combination. Only in the case of the proper seal configuration, there is no concern about the weakness of the day master, because the seal can nourish the day master. So, it is much simpler than dealing with wealth and official elements.
