Eight Characters: Favorable and Unfavorable Conditions (4) The Eater Superior Pattern

The fourth pattern for favorable use is the Gourmet God Pattern. As I mentioned when positioning the Ten Gods, the Gourmet God Pattern and the Hurting Officer Pattern have similar tendencies. It is useless on its own. The Gourmet God and the Hurting Officer need to generate Wealth, which is auspicious! For a pure Gourmet God Pattern, if there is no Wealth, the person is just honest and kind. The Gourmet God Pattern is not afraid of the Peer and Robber counteracting the Wealth, but is afraid of the Seal counteracting the Gourmet God. Since it is for favorable use, when the Gourmet God meets the Seal, the pattern is broken. It's not a problem if the Wealth generated by the Gourmet God is counteracted by the Peer and Robber. So the Gourmet God is not afraid of the Peer and Robber, only afraid of the Seal counteracting it. This is a bit different from the auspiciousness and inauspiciousness of the Wealth, Officer, and Seal. Well, there are just these four patterns for favorable use.

What should one do if the Gourmet God encounters the Seal? Still use mediation. The Seal generates the Siblings, and the Siblings generate the Output. Use the Siblings to mediate. The Mediation God is the most commonly used in命理 (Note: "命理" is directly transliterated as there is no exact English equivalent. It means "the theory of fate in traditional Chinese culture"). It's about making peace! When two elements are in conflict, find an intermediary that both parties know to mediate.

There are four patterns for the normal use and also four patterns for the reverse use. Although it's about the reverse use, in fact, it can be used both normally and reversely, and the patterns for the reverse use are superior to those for the normal use.
